About the Course

Modern Scrum teams often look to Kanban to improve their workflow. This course explores the ways Scrum is enhanced by integrating the essential Kanban practices and metrics.

People are practicing Kanban to improve the flow and quality of work. The Kanban strategy complements Scrum with pragmatic techniques that improve transparency and continuous improvement.

Scrum.org collaborated with Daniel Vacanti in the creation of this course. In 2007, Daniel helped to develop the Kanban Method for knowledge work, including managing the world’s first project implementation of Kanban.

In this class, you will learn the principles of flow in the context of Scrum for more efficient, predictable, and effective outcomes.

What People Say

David is passionate about the subject matter and it was really cool to solution any case trying on different roles/approaches and always being challenged by David.

Project Manager

I have gone through Agile training before. I found that this class enhanced my knowledge and gave me tools I will use with my team and new ways to approach our work.

UI/UX Designer

I found the discussions of Scrum and Aagile thinking quite useful, particularly around attempting to bring Agile thinking into a more rigid and traditional work environment.

Solutions Architect

Great class with David. David is a very knowledgeable trainer who took the time to explain all the concepts in the PSPO-A course materials with examples from his consulting experience. Well worth the time.

Scrum Coach

David is exceptional! I’ve participated in a few of his skill-building classes and gained so much insight. David is positive, relatable and makes the learning environment fun and collaborative. I highly recommend taking part in his sessions.

Product Manager

David is the epitome of what trainers should strive to be. David is a practicing trainer, where he not only provides world-class trainings but lives the Agile mindset in practice...I hold him in a very small number of trainers I have no hesitation recommending to my clients.

VP, Contino

David is the particular person in the mix who brought in immersive exercises to trigger discoveries which simply go far beyond the ordinary, commonly used approach of telling learners what’s so, about new product/service development. If a picture is worth a 1,000 words, then doing an exercise is worth more than all the words, and much faster!!! David proved this, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Why compromise? Just go with the best approach. David does that.
