Wardley Maps Primer

There are no upcoming public classes.

About this Workshop

Wardley Mapping is a strategic tool/technique that helps organizations understand the evolutionary maturity and value of products, services, and capabilities within their portfolio.

The map visualizes the value chain of a product, highlighting the components and their evolution over time. This information helps executives make informed decisions about product investment, prioritization, and roadmap planning.

Who Should Attend?

Wardley Mapping can be applied to any industry and provides a common language for cross-functional teams to discuss the portfolio and make data-driven decisions.

At an executive level, a Wardley Map is likely to illustrate entire portfolios.

At other levels of magnification (e.g., portfolio, product, single-team service), a Wardley Map may illustrate a product value stream, a feature set, internal tooling, etc.
